Open Hearth Lodge

This was the perfect place for a girls weekend. I picked this place due to the amenities and when we arrived, we were surprised with more! Snacks and libations in the lobby for purchase, fire pits galore, live singing entertainment, etc. we got the evergreen suite and it was perfect for us. The bedrooms and bathrooms (2 each) were clean, spacious, and beautiful. We will definitely be returning. 3 minutes away from a delicious Thai/sushi restaurant hidden away.

The hotel was nice and clean. The free breakfast was also a great bonus. With all that said, nothing tops the staff at the hotel. I spend over 100 nights a year in Marriott hotels and I can say that I have never be shown the hospitality that was shown at the Open Hearth Lodge!

This lodge was so much better than expected. Inviting, warm, accommodating, clean, and picturesque. Room was ready early (blessing in a snowstorm) close to everything and had a free shuttle to local events. Clean room, ample towels, pool, hot tub, games, puzzles, and books to use. Laundry on site. Food, wine, beer for purchase with glasses to use! (VERY AFFORDABLE). Adorable fire pits and seating outside. Dog friendly with their own in room amenities. Can stream from all the popular services in room and enjoy a private fireplace. Open Hearth was a welcome oasis from the blizzard and had everything we needed and more.

What a nice hotel. Drove past it for 20+ years and never thought twice. Now ... I love this hotel. I will be back. They are dog very friendly. The dog rooms are perfect and spotless. A free breakfast comes with the stay. There is a huge area to walk the puppies and a private fenced in dog potty area. Very secure. The doggie side of the hotel sells out ... alot. Make your reservation early. This place is worth the try. I think you will like it. The hotel is very quiet and the owners are very attentive to their guest. One last note... "I loved this"... fireplaces in the front and back of the hotel were on at night and morning. Visiting with other guest or just being quiet was wonderful. This is a hotel done right. "SO", in conclusion, please don't go there because then I won't be able to get a room... :) !

I just stayed the weekend there. This would be my third time staying here, but this time I brought my dog. 1000/10 would highly recommend. We felt so at home with our dog, our dog even felt at home. This place is welcoming, safe, relaxing, dog-friendly and comfortable. Well, located!

Rarely am I ever this confident to give a 5-star review. It was our 2nd time staying there this weekend. To me, this is an ideal place of lodging. It’s not a fake, sterile, soulless, white and grey corporate hotel. It is pretty much the opposite. Incredible breakfast room. Fire pits outside. Beer/drink/snack selection with Venmo, housekeeping tips also possible with Venmo. Great location. To me, this is exactly what a hotel should be. Thank you guys so much for running such an authentic lodge.

My husband and I are here for our anniversary, we wanted a jetted tub room and this was the only one in the areas available. I’m so glad we chose this one ! We walked in and were greeted immediately by the front desk guy . He was so great . Super friendly and helpful . They are so accommodating. You can really tell they care about the guests and that alone goes a long way . Expensive hotels are overrated these days and nothing beats the service . We will stay again nexts year !

I've stayed here several times over the years. The amenities are awesome! Beautiful indoor pool and hot tub. They also have a nice exercise room. Can't forget the awesome continental breakfast that they offer! The place is very clean and the staff is friendly and pleasant! I would highly recommend staying here!
